Yeah, NAH (No Avoidable Harm) - Our partnership with Mainstream combines innovative proximity warning sensors with visual, and audio warning systems to create dynamic exclusion zones and ensure people are working in the safest possible environment.
Staff wear personal detector units (PDU's) which are configured to reflect the relative dangers of Mainstream freight hub environments. As mobile plant machinery moves around the freight hubs, they create dynamic exclusion zones. If anyone enters these dynamic exclusion zones, real-time warnings are trigerred to the drivers, machinery, and staff which alerts them to take action.
"Since implementing the SonaSafe solution we've been able to engage our staff in Health & Safety conversations supported their real-world data. Working alongside our internal team and those at SonaSafe we've seen an 80% reduction in near misses as well as a 65% reduction in exclusion zone breaches. Ultimately we're driving behavioural change through a more engaged workforce and creating a safer work environment."
- Grant Lemin, Mainstream Chief Operations Officer
"Sonasafe has worked collaboratively with Mainstream to configure Sonasafe system alerts to reflect on-the-ground operational risk in a dynamic warehousing environment. Through accurate real-time alerting and reinforcing positive behaviour their workforce operates safer and more efficiently".
- Conal Martin, SonaSafe Chief Operations Officer
We continue to work closely with Mainstream to identify risks across all operations and develop more innovative solutions with the goal of reaching no avoidable harm (NAH).
